A week of temperature swings. Very cool in the start of the week, with temperatures a cooler 22°C (72°F) during the day, to daytime highs of 38°C (100°F) by the end of the week. A few clusters of Pinot Gris started veraison, but most have not yet started. None of the other grape varieties are showing any indication of veraison, but it is difficult to notice with varieties like Riesling as this change is very subtle until the process is already well under way.
